Believing God created us to be relational, Sharon considers it a privilege to join others in developing a better understanding of themselves, as well as greater intimacy in their relationship with others. At the heart of her work, she desires to help people form healthy connections with family, friends and God.
Sharon spent nearly 20 years on staff for Campus Crusade over-seeing staff and working with college students. It was through her work with various people and cultures a desire to more effectively integrate theology and the helping profession of counseling developed. Sharon’s previous counseling experience includes working with individuals and couples at the Hope Counseling Center and Building Intimate Marriages in Suwanee, GA. She is an associate member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Sharon earned a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. Her undergraduate studies were attained from Oklahoma State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
Sharon enjoys a full life with her husband of 27 years. They live in Marietta and have 3 children, one away in college and two still at home.
